Private Ride is priced per vehicle. The vehicle is reserved just for your group, with no stops for other passengers.

Peak Dates

Choose this category when your travel date falls within one of the following Peak periods: Dec. 20–Jan. 5, Jan. 14–18, or Feb. 11–15.

For a round-trip reservation, both travel legs must fall within Peak dates. If one portion of your trip is Peak and the other is Non-Peak, please book two separate one-way reservations to ensure correct pricing.

Your Private Transfer, Reserved for Your Party

Alpine Express, Gunnison’s largest and longest-established shuttle company, provides private door-to-door transportation between Gunnison (GUC), Crested Butte, Mt. Crested Butte and other regional airports. Your vehicle is reserved exclusively for your party, with no waiting for other passengers and no extra stops. 24/7 support once you’re booked.

1–5 Passengers: Private SUV

6–10 Passengers: Private Van

11–14 Passengers: Extended Passenger Van

Booking & Confirmation

Reservations should be booked at least 48 hours in advance. Once your transportation is confirmed, you will receive an email from vacations@skitripadvisors.com titled “Your Alpine Express Shuttle Confirmation(s) – Please Review Your Pick-Up Times.”

It is your responsibility to review your confirmation, understand your pickup times, and be present at your scheduled pickup. If you have not received your confirmation at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup, please contact Ski Trip Advisors at 888.315.8747 or Alpine Express at 970-728-6000. Ski Trip Advisors is not responsible for missed pickups.

Baggage & Ski Equipment

Standard baggage includes 2 bags + 1 personal item / carry-on per guest. Private vehicles will accommodate additional luggage based on capacity.

Skis, snowboards, and ski/snowboard bags are included and are not considered oversized items.

Very large or unusual items, such as bicycles, should be disclosed in advance and may require additional space or fees.

Book one reservation for your whole party. Leave the quantity at 1. The price already covers your whole vehicle.

Cancellation Policy & Terms

Cancel at least 24 hours prior to scheduled pickup for an 80% refund or a full credit voucher (valid 12 months).
Cancellations under 24 hours are non-refundable, including weather, road, or airline changes.
To cancel, email cancellation@destinationsystems.com and vacations@skitripadvisors.com with your name and reservation number.
